Is it safe for a Cocker Spaniel to deliver puppies sired by a Husky?

Can a cocker spaniel safely delivere puppies sired by a husky? My dog mated with a husky out on a walk with a dog walker I paid for an individual walk so I don’t know why she walked my dog with another dog apparently it happened while the dogs where in the back of her car

Hello, thank you for your question about Sadie. I am very sorry to hear that this happened. It is very difficult to say for sure if she would be able to deliver the puppies; it is dependent on many different factors. It depends on how big Sadie is and the size of her pelvic bones. It also depends on the size of the puppies, as just because she mated with a large breed dog does not mean that her puppies will be large. I would recommend consulting with your veterinarian to discuss monitoring her pregnancy. Additionally once the puppies have bones an x-ray can be taken to determine the number and the rough size of the puppies. Hope this helps!
