My 4 month old puppy is only throwing up at night. Within four days he threw up the first night, didn’t throw up the second, and threw up the third and fourth. His vomit is an orange color and I saw chunks of food in it . He did eat two pepperonis the first night he threw up. I read he could have gastritis or pancreatitis. Just wanted to ask before I went to my vet. Also, he seems to be fine other than that. His stool is solid and his appetite is normal.

It could be Jax has gastritis. Pancreatitis makes dogs very sick, so I would expect more episodes of vomiting than you have seen. Having him seen by his vet is a good idea. I'd take him into the vet in the morning. Best of luck.
