My rabbit has snuffles. Can I safely diffuse essential oils nearby?

I'm worried about diffusing the doterra breath essential oil around my rabbits because I'm getting conflicting information online. The ingredients are: Laurel Leaf, Eucalyptus Leaf, Peppermint Plant, Melaleuca Leaf, Lemon Peel, Cardamom Seed, Ravintsara Leaf, Ravensara Leaf essential oils They both have the snuffles and I'm worried about how they will react

Thanks for reaching out about Onyx. Oil residues can cause respiratory irritations, both sinus and lungs, and are not recommended. None of these product have been tested in a scientific controlled environment to determine, efficacy, toxicity or other reactions. Upper respiratory infections (Snuffles) are often caused by bacterial infections, that are best treated with systemic antibiotics. A rabbit-savvy veterinarian can helps with the diagnosis and treatment plans. Good luck.
