My 5-month puppy lost a permanent incisor. What does this mean?

My 5 month old puppy was chewing on a bone and his tooth came loose then fell out. I believe it was his permanent incisor. What does this mean for him? Is his quality of life ruined forever?????

Incisors are not essential teeth as most dogs either chew with their back teeth or swallow their food. It would be quite usual for a permanent tooth to be dislodged that easily as well. But even if it was, the main change will be cosmetic, and he will never know. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
