Pet's info: Cat | Snowshoe | Female | spayed | 4 years and 10 months old | 9 lbs
Hi my cat has been stressed out lately for several reasons and is starting to make herself sick by barely eating and drinking water. She has been showing signs of a UTI but is using the bathroom without pain. I don't have the money to take her to a vet and would like to know how I can obtain antibiotics without a prescription if she needs them....such as Baytril. Thank you

Unfortunately there is no way to get antibiotics without a prescription, and it is illegal for us to prescribe any medication without seeing Gambit in person first. I'm extremely concerned she is barely eating and drinking. It's actually quite serious when a cat won't eat as they will develop a fatty liver over time. A fatty liver is fatal without treatment. She has to see a vet now. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants. Best Friends also has a list of resources that offer financial assistance on their website. http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html?credit=web_id91754962 https://www.redrover.org https://www.carecredit.com http://bestfriends.org/resources/financial-aid-pets http://lessonsfromaparalyzeddog.com/when-pet-owners-cant-afford-veterinary-bills/ http://www.dogheirs.com/resources-affordable-veterinary-care/ Please take her into a vet immediately.
