My male puppy has a scrotal rash and dark orange urine. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 7 months and 20 days old | 30 lbs

7 month old, intact, male beagle/Australian shepherd mix. Rash and hair loss on scrotum. Red around open where penis comes out. Frequent urination. Dark, orange urine. Is this emergent?

These signs might be compatible with a urinary tract infection/inflammation. Stress related (idiopathic type of inflammation), infections and presence of crystals are the most common causes of it. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. This presentation is not an emergency and can be seen asap during normal hours.
