7 month old, intact, male beagle/Australian shepherd mix. Rash and hair loss on scrotum. Red around open where penis comes out. Frequent urination. Dark, orange urine. Is this emergent? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 7 months and 20 days old | 30 lbs

These signs might be compatible with a urinary tract infection/inflammation. Stress related (idiopathic type of inflammation), infections and presence of crystals are the most common causes of it. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
