Why is my dog still lethargic, feverish, and drooling after meds?

Hi my dog is lethargic ,poor appetite, febrile And with excessive salivation The doctor said it is cold he gave her antibiotic and vitamins for three days but still she is the same ! I am so sorry your pet is so ill. She needs to have some bloodwork done at this point and possible further testing (ie urinalysis +/ x-rays) to try and find the underlying cause for her symptoms. Also another antibiotic may be needed if her infection is not responding to the current one chosen. If bloodwork has already been done then please request a private Consultation with either myself or another expert here for a more in depth conversation as to what the bloodwork results indicate for a second opinion. She may even need to be hospitalized and give IV medications until she is well enough to go home and receive oral medications readily .
