Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 2 months and 4 days old | 25 lbs
My corgi has these all over her body and it makes her itch insanely. The picture quality is not that great so the best way I can explain it is as if she had hard yellow dandruff. She does not have fleas, already checked. I’m trying oatmeal baths but still now luck. Anyone have an idea what this is? Should I comb them out?

Sometimes these flakes can indicate problems with the oil glands and sometimes they can indicate a superficial bacterial infection. Potential causes in hypothyroidism, allergies or primary disease of the oil glands. If your treatment is not helping, I recommend to have Mia see her veterinarian. The doctor may recommend testing the thyroid gland and can provide medications to relieve itching. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
