Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed

My cat's Vagina is swollen since two days and today morning there was blood and pus like discharge out of her vagina. She didn't urinate or poop till now and she isn't eating nor drinking milk. When we come close to her she is growling at us. Kindly let me know about the problem. Thank you.

Choti may have a pyometra which is a uterine infection. This should be considered an emergency and be addressed as soon as possible by your veterinarian. An exam and x-rays may confirm or rule out the condition. Typically, surgery is required.
