My dog has a chin bump, dandruff, itching, and shedding. What's wrong?

Just noticed what almost looks like a pimple underneath my dogs bottom lip, is this anythingto be worried about? Also, he’s suddenly having a lot of dandruff, itching more and shedding a ton—is this related to cold dry winter weather in NYC? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 10 lbs

Hi. Poor Felix. Good photos. This could be a little area of infection, chin acne, an insect bite, etc. I would recommend making sure his bowls aren't plastic, and I would talk with ypur veterinarian about possible allergies. I would make an appointment to have them look at that chin just in case since this is only a photo. As for the dandruff, this may go with allergies as well. I would get a good oatmeal shampoo and rinse. Good luck
