Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 2 months and 3 days old | 25 lbs
My eight week old Pembroke corgi will not stop itching. She does not have fleas. I think it might be allergies but I cannot get her into the vet for the next two days. Looking for something that can help her skin in the meantime. I have tried bathing, brushing, scratching her myself, etc.

A colloidal oatmeal bath may soothe itchy skin. Soak her in a warm bath for 15-20 minutes then pat, don't rub, her dry. A fish oil supplement, such as DermCaps or EicosaCaps, may also provide a measure of relief. Check the humidity in your home. Low humidity may cause dry, itchy skin. Use an e-collar (cone) to prevent excessive licking or chewing until Mia sees the vet.
