Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 10 months old
My cat didn't accept harness, but he accepted well a polar vest he has, that I modified into harness, I walked him with it for a week,he was happy and didn't want to escape it,but today a man accidentally let loose his dog and it ran so fast chasing my cat so I couldn't pick him and he rans away far,8 hours I searched and called him with no results, how much time is needed for him to calm down and come home alone and how tight can I make his vest around the neck to be unabble to escape it again?

I'm so sorry Tikvichoko ran away! Hopefully he will calm down soon and come home. I would check with your neighbors to see if they have seen him, contact local vet clinics, and make posts on social media. As for how tight the vest can be, you need to be able to fit a finger underneath it comfortably. I hope this helps.
