My new cat is lethargic with green poop, worms, and blood. What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male

Day before yesterday I bought a cat from a petshop. From the first day he was lethargic and had low appetite also his poop was green bun not slimy or runny. But today I observed there was worm and blood in his poop. Poop was green colored and also slimy and runny. I've contacted the vet but to go there I've to wait at least 2-3 hours. I'm very worried about the cat. What kind of disease can cause these symptoms!? Please suggest me what should I do now. Thanks in advance.

Definitely take Oreo into a vet as soon as possible. If he has worms in his feces, it means he is suffering from intestinal worms, which can cause the blood. I am very concerned about the color of his feces, the green can be a sign of a bacterial infection. Please take him into the vet.
