Is my new lovebird sick? He's sleeping a lot at the cage bottom.

My lovebird is new and young, got him yesterday and I think he’s like 24 weeks or so old, he has been sitting at the bottom of the cage, sleeping a lot, even throughout the day, is this just where he is nervous or is he sick? Pet's info: Bird | Lovebird | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Blitz. Even though moving to a new home is very stressful, this seems more than stress. Concerns over an underlying disease needs to be considered and a veterinary visit is highly recommended. Providing heat support for now might give some comfort. Place a towel on bottom of cage for perching. Provide food and water within reach. Good luck.
