Is it safe to give my dog ice cream and curd with rice in summer?

Hi.. Hope you are having a good day.. My vet advised me to give ice creams and curd with rice for Mini since summer has started here.. But, my concern is about the sugar that is present in the ice cream.. Is it okay to give her both??? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 8 months and 10 days old

It would be healthier to keep her out of the sun and provide shelter as well as plenty of fresh, cool water. The ice cream may cause stomach upset and could predispose her to obesity. The curd with rice can be given in small amounts and only occasionally. It should not be the main part of the diet.
