What are these scabs on my dog's body, neck, and hind legs?

My pup has these weird scabs all around him, I was brushing them and found a bunch of small ones on the inside of his hind legs and one big long one at the base of his neck...any idea what it is? Pet's info: Dog | Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 8 days old | 13 lbs

It looks like Murphy has collarettes that are typical of pyoderma, a fairly common bacteria skin infection. I recommend scheduling an appointment with your veterinarian for an examination. If it is confirmed to be bacterial, your vet will likely prescribe an antibiotic such as Simplicef along with a probiotic to prevent diarrhea from the antibiotic course, +/- a medicated shampoo such as Malaseb every other day for two weeks.
