My dog just had puppies and is now vomiting and refusing to eat.

Question

I found a stray dog busy giving birth it's been in labour since Wednesday and gave birth to the last pup Friday ..she is now refusing to eat and is vomiting. I'm not sure what was her diet as I just found the dog . In my area there is no free vet clinics and I don't have transportation to take her to a vet. 4 of the pups died I managed to safe 2 as they came out bridge and one she is rejecting. Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am very worried that Fury might have another puppy or placenta stuck inside her that is causing infection. Ideally I strongly recommend you find a friend or someone that can help transport you to a vet clinic, as she might need surgery to save her. She might also need antibiotics. Try feeding her a high quality puppy food that is canned- this will provide her with the energy, calcium and more water that she needs, and feed her as much as she will eat. If there are clinics in your area that aren't free, I recommend bringing her and surrendering her to those clinics, as she sounds like she is seriously ill and might be in pain.
