Our vet has already checked him couple of tyms. No improvement. Now he started bleeding in this area. We really don’t know what to do. Pls take a good look at the image and help us. Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I recommend you discuss with your vet about a skin biopsy, as pemphigus might be the cause. This is a disease where the immune system attacks the skin. The problem is that this is treated with immuno-suppressants and if this is an infection then you will make the problem much worse. Therefore, it is best to get a sample first to get a diagnosis. I also recommend sending away a sample of the infected skin for a culture and sensitivity, as you might just have a resistant bacterial infection. Best of luck with Tyson!
