Why won't my dog eat, has stomach upset, and jelly-like poop?

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | neutered | 6 years and 1 month old | 100 lbs

Hello, my 7 year old Rottweiler woke up this morning not wanting to eat his normal dog food; Hills Science Diet sensitive stomach and skin, I could hear his stomach making some noises so I got him to poop and it looked normal maybe a little squishier than normal, he still wouldn’t eat his food but he would he bread then I tried different brand of dog food and he ate it. He has been acting completely normal. he pooped it had a small amount of blood with clear mucus, like jelly.

It's possible Grizzly could be having some minor GI upset. I would pick up his regular food for a bit and then offer a bland diet of some boiled chicken and rice as this can help settle minor GI upset. You can then start offering him his regular food again. I would avoid feeding people food beyond basic chicken and rice to avoid any additional GI upset, and would avoid switching his food completely if he has a history of a sensitive stomach. If he still refuses his food, or shows any other symptoms of illness, bringing him to your vet is best to rule out any issues such as parasites, GI illnesses, etc that could be causing the problem.
