What causes my dog to pant, get dizzy & fall over

Poor Milo! The main things that would cause Milo do get dizzy could be a heart problem, a blood pressure problem, low blood sugar or kidney/liver disease. Milo needs to see his veterinarian today for a full physical exam and testing. If you catch the problem early, treatment has a better outcome. Hello. There may be several underlying conditions that might be at work here, but most significantly this may indicate a heart problem. Milo may be essentially passing out from a heart arrhythmia that cause a temporary decrease of oxygen to his brain. This is cause syncopy. He may also be experiencing petit mal seizures. You should try to schedule an exam with your veterinarian for a good workup for Milo to see why he is doing this.
