My 11-week puppy frog sits and bunny hops. Is it hip dysplasia?

Hi! I just got a Great Dane/ Saint Bernard pup. I'm aware both these breeds are risk factors for hip dysplasia so naturally, I'm paranoid. My puppy is 11 weeks and I've noticed that she does a lot of the symptoms such as frog sitting, Bunny hops, sway walk (I think), crawling up on furniture rather than jumping. Is this just normal awkward puppy behavior or does it sound like Hip Dysplasia? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 8 days old | 35 lbs

At this age, it’s hard to say- it could be either. Bernadette will need to start or continue her puppy vaccines around this age anyway, so have your vet do a good exam of the hips while you’re in for that. We really can’t diagnose hip dysplasia without xrays (unless it’s so severe that the hips are popping out of their sockets) but your vet could certainly do that at any time.
