Both of my dogs both have diarrhea and it’s watery. We just fed them rice and pumpkin. Should I be worried?

If they are behaving normally otherwise, then there is likely no cause for concern unless the diarrhea continues for more than 24-48 hours. Fast them for 12-24 hours, allowing small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with 1 tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount. Feed bland until the stool is normal then transition slowly to the regular diet. See your veterinarian if the diarrhea persists. Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. These are symptoms that should also be addressed by your veterinarian.
