Hi, it is obviously difficult for me to fully advise you on such a delicate decision since I have no means to check Emma over. If the lump is not cancerous, has your vet suggested anything else apart from antibiotics ? Would antinflammatories help in his opinion ? I think being more sleepy is kind of expected with her age and I would say if Emma is still enjoying her life and does not seem to be in pain there is no need to think about euthanasia. Just let her enjoy her life and the relationship with you, if the lump is not causing any issues, just monitoring it would not be wrong given Emma’s age. I hope this helps and please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
