Pet's info: Cat | Scottish Fold Longhair | Male | neutered | 5 years and 11 months old | 19 lbs
Suddenly my cat is waking me between 3am and 5am to eat. Previously, he got his wet food in the evening and dry food and water available all the time. I can't find a reason for the drastic change. How should I handle this?

Try using an automatic feeder. You can set the times to feed Rufus and Rufus may start to disassociate you from the feeding. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
