Hello. Generally, within a few hours of recovery we want a rabbit to start eating. While burring down a spur should not be a particularly invasive or painful procedure, rabbits can be quite sensitive to anesthesia. But, if all goes well, as I am sure it will, Millie should be up & eating by evening. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
