What does it mean when your leopard gecko hide in its hides everyday and everyday night but he does come out sometimes and moves around and eat. And is it a good or bad thing that he starts in his hides everyday and everynight. Pet's info: Reptile | Lizard | Male | 5 months and 10 days old | 4 lbs

Thanks for reaching out about Blu. It sounds as if he is being secretive or scared. Is he housed alone? Is his terrarium in a high traffic area? If yes to either of these, that situation might have to be corrected. Check environmental temperature in the whole exhibit. Good luck.
