My cat is in heat and very vocal. How can I calm her down safely?

Sweetums is in heat and we plan on getting her fixed just waiting on paycheck but shes extremely loud this is her second time so far is there anything I can give her to calm down like ibuprofen, sleep aid etc just so we can sleep etc. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 9.5 lbs

I would not give her any type of NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc) as these are highly toxic to cats. I would just try some Benadryl twice a day to see if this helps. See link below. You could also try to use a feliway diffusers and spray to help calm her. Feliway is a cat pheromone that works on some cats to help calm them.
