Are cetirizine & cefpodoxime right for dog's runny, red, watery eyes?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 26.5 lbs

My dog had runny nose and now she has red and watery eyes doctor has suggested cetirizine and cefpodoxime Tablets. I am just so worried though

So your vet gave you an allergy medication and an antibiotic. Cefpodoxime is used to treat respiratory infections in dogs. I am wondering if a prescription eye medication would be good for Coco's eyes, and I would take her back into the vet to discuss using that. I hope this helps.
