i have 1 very pregnant foster cat due most likely tonight and 1 nursing mom with one 15 day old baby. we are having huge wind storms tonight and tomorrow and it’s very cold outside and i expect we will lose power. what are some good ways (besides ofc 1000 blankets) i can help keep the mom and babies warm in the event we lose electricity? i am so scared the babies will get too cold

I certainly understand being worried about them getting cold, and I hope you don't lose power! Heap as many blankets as possible. If you have hot water bottles, you can fill them and hid them under the blankets to add extra warmth. Do not put them too close to the kittens's skin or they could get burned. I'm not sure if you have a fireplace or not, but you do have one, put them in that room and light a fire. I hope this helps!
