Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 11 lbs
Our cat is 13 with mild skin blastomycosis since he was 9. He had 2 positive blasto tests. He's been fighting it for a long time, just skin sores that would heal up. Now he's vomiting bile and refusing food/water sometimes. Other days he eats and has normal stools/urine. I think he might have kidney problems. The vet says there's not much to be done without a lot of tests & he gets so stressed and sick at the vet's. Worried about the vomiting yellow bile. He's lost weight but is okay otherwis

Hello, thank you for your question about Pete. I am sorry to hear that he is not feeling well. Inappetance and vomiting can be signs of many underlying conditions. I would agree that Pete should be seen by your veterinarian so that they can examine him and discuss the need for additional diagnostics, such as systemic bloodwork. If Pete becomes extremely stressed prior to his appointment, you could discuss administering a sedative/anti-anxiety medication prior to his visit with your veterinarian. Hope this helps, good luck!
