Good morning, I have a female Tuxedo cat, who is 4 years old. Recently, I noticed her meowing a lot and following me around the house. She will meow with her mouth slightly open and pacing. She wanted me to follow her to my closet and lay down. When I tried to leave my room , she will get up and meow and following me again. Is my cat in pain? It sounds like LaLa could be in heat! Cats in heat vocalize a lot and are more affectionate than usual. Their behavior can be extremely annoying while in heat, so I'd have her spayed if you don't want to deal with this anymore. Best of luck.
