Poor girl. It wounds like she may have an upper respiratory infection (kennel cough). She needs to be seen by your vet for a thorough exam and then placed on a short course of antibiotics to help her recover. I would recommend taking her in as soon as you can, since she is so young and sensitive to illness. I hope that your fur baby Domino feels better soon! Best wishes and take care.

Hello, thank you for your question about Maisie. Based on the symptoms that you are describing it sounds like she might have an upper respiratory infection (similar to the human cold). This is not uncommon in younger dogs as they are exposed to new things in their environment. It is possible that she is experiencing a post nasal drip leading to irritation and nausea. I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian so that they can examine her and discuss the need for further diagnostics such as chest x-rays. Based on these findings they can make treatment recommendations such as antibiotics and an anti-nausea medication. If she is able to keep water down and does not vomit that up I think it is ok to have her seen by a veterinarian tomorrow. If she is vomiting up even water I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian tonight. Hope this helps, good luck!
