Can I use Capstar for fleas between Revolution doses safely?

Ron has fleas despite having his usual dose of revolution. It’s too soon to apply another dose but I’m wondering if I can use capstar in the meantime? Pet's info: Cat | Sphynx | Male | neutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 7 lbs
