Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 1 month old | 5 lbs
For two days in a row my Yorkshire terrier has had an episode that follows like this. She urinates quite a lot then start shaking profusely her nose gets really hot then her whole body and then she starts panting. I have no idea if this is a urinary track infection or it could be her glucose dropping and the beginning of hypoglycemia or diabetes. I gave her a little honey then took a wet towel and rubbed her down. The ordeal glasses between 10 to 15 minutes tops then kinda goes bk to herself

It's possible something could be going on, especially if this has happened more than once. It would be best to bring Toodie into your vet for a full exam where they can take bloodwork and a urine sample to check for things like urinary infections or other issues that could be causing the symptoms you are seeing. Small breed dogs can definitely get hypoglycemia, which is usually solved by feeding multiple small meals a day to help keep the blood sugar regulated, but if this is happening in a specific sequence or after urinating, I would have her examined by your vet to rule out infections or other concerns as well.
