My Shiba Inu has diarrhea. Can I give him my Husky's amoxicillin?

Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | unneutered | 25 lbs

I have a husky 55lbs and a shiba inu 25 lbs. my shiba inu has diarrhea and I have some medication from my husky. Can I give him some it’s amoxillin 875mg/125mg?

No you can't, the dosage is way too high for him and i'm not sure at all that this antibiotic is what he needs at the moment anyway. withhold food for 12 hours then offer him boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if he is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put him back gradually on his normal food. If the diarrhea does not resolve, take him to the vet to get treatment.
