My cat bites when brushed. How to groom matted fur? Vet or calming?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 2 years and 6 months old | 9.9208017983 lbs

‏Kindly my cat does not like combing when i combing him he becomes hostile behavior starts biting and beating ‏How can I comb his hair it beacome in alot of contract? Can I take him to vet to give him general anesthesia with a small dose or is there any Soothing medicine for cats you recommend?

Some vets can sedate cats and then groom them or even clip them short so that you don’t need to worry about brushing as frequently. You could also try a pheromone diffuser or spray like Feliway if it’s available near you but it may not be quite enough to get the job done.
