My cat bites when I comb him. Can I use a tranquilizer for grooming?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 2 years and 6 months old | 9.9208017983 lbs

Kindly my cat does not like combing when i combing him he becomes hostile behavior starts biting and crashing I want to give him this tranquilizer so I can comb it but do not know the amount of dosage and instructions before and after giving??

The published dose for oral acepromazine is 0.5 to 2 mg per kilogram for sedation, however if this was notnprescribed for Tom I would not recommend giving it. Acepromazine can be dangerous for cats with certain medical conditions.
