My dog's tail has a popped bump. Is it dog acne? Should I worry?

My dog woke up with a pus filled bump on his tail. I rubbed over it and it popped. Could it be dog acne? Is it anything to worry about? He is acting completely normal and is happy active self. He really doesn't seem to be bothered by it. I noticed the other day the skin on his tail is a little dry. Can you please tell me what it is and what I should do I'm worried about him. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 6 years and 8 months old | 16 lbs

It looks like it may have been a small papule or similar to acne. It also could be another type of skin growth. If it resolves in the next few days and doesn’t seem to bother Oscar you probably have nothing to worry about. If it is still around in 5-7 days or seems bigger I’d recommend having your vet take a look.
