My dog has a runny nose and fast breathing while sleeping. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 26.5 lbs

My dog has runny nose since last 4 days, the nasal discharge is clear like water and now she has high breathing rate. Her breathing rate is nearly 65 breaths per minute while she is asleep. Is it a because of change in weather . What should I do

Hi, and thanks for your question. This sign could be compatible with an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or possibly to a chronic rhinitis (inflammatory, allergic, infective). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
