My kitten's eye bled after injury, but now seems fine. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 3 months and 21 days old | 1.8 lbs

My kitten Freya was accidentally thrown onto the wall and immediately after we made sure that she was alright. But her eye had some blood in it. and she looked as though she was bleeding from her eye, not gushing or anything but a tiny bit..but I tended to her eye with a cotton ball and dipped it into some water and ended up getting any discharge that formed. and later on in the day I did it again and she looks normal. And plays around normally like nothing happened. Should I worry?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Freya. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. The bleeding is worrisome and needs to be evaluated. She may require treatment. She could have an external wound or have actually sustained damage within the eye itself. In the meantime, do not allow her to paw as the eye as this can cause further trauma. I hope this information helps!
