Is DuMor Advanced Diet good for rabbits? What's the best rabbit food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 24 days old | 2 lbs

I have been looking into getting a new food for my rabbits and have seen the Dumor advanced diet. Is that ok for either of my rabbits? If not, what would be a good brand to go with... Thank you in advance for the help!

This is an excellent diet, however, it should not make up the main part of Apollo's diet. Ideally, he should be eating as much timothy hay, oat hay or similar grasses as he wants. He can eat alfalfa until he is about 6-7 months old then it should not be fed. He can get about 1/8 cup of commercial pellets (DuMor or any other brand) daily and a cup or two of fresh, chopped greens and vegetables daily.
