When do kittens mellow out? We’ve Had my kitten for about a month now. When we first got him, all he wanted to do was snuggle and sleep. Now he is full of energy and super crazy all the time. He pees of things, attacks our senior dog, and gets into everything! He has earned the nickname “monster baby.” Is this normal? Is there anything we can do about his behavior? Or will he just grow out of it?

It sounds like Cheex-it is quite the character! Yes, this is all normal behavior. Kittens are very hyper active. They do eventually outgrow it. One thing you can do that may help would be to set aside 30 minutes to an hour every day for vigorous play. This will help him to be more calm throughout the day. The only thing I read that is somewhat concerning, is that he urinates on things. This could become a problem and may indicate a medical issue. I recommend to have him seen by his veterinarian to check his urine for any signs of infection. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions!
