My dog reacted to DHPP vaccine, still acting strange. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old | 1lb

My dog just receive a dhpp bosster. She immediately reacted wrong to it. The vet gave her something for the reaction, but she sill acting odd. What should I do?

Poor girl! If your vet gave her something for the vaccine reaction, it was likely Benadryl or a steroid or both. I would try to contact your vet to let them know she still isn't acting right and ask if you should give her anything tonight like another dose of Benadryl. If she is just tired, then this is to be expected. If she is labored breathing or vomiting or if you are really concerned, I would have her seen again by your vet immediately or take her to your local emergency clinic. I hope this helps and she perks up soon!
