My puppy has diarrhea and isn't eating after vaccination. What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | 1 month and 16 days old

My 48 days GSD female pup got vaccinated on Sunday the first vaccination post which Monday she didn't had any food but only drank water. Tuesday she ate food 3-4 times cerelac. I have given her deworm drops today(only one time) along with calcium and vitamin tonics once a day. She is active but her stools from Monday is all sticky and loose motion. Is it normal or do I need to check with a vet for a medicine for her stool. Please forgive as I am attaching the pic of her stool.

Hello. If Coco is eating, drinking & feeling very well, then I would not be too concerned. However, I would stop the calcium & vitamin tonics as these can cause an imbalance. It is best just to feed a good quality puppy food as this will supply all the nutrients she needs to grow. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
