My dog just had puppies. Why does she jump on my bed at night?

My dog gave birth four days ago. For some reason the mom will get out the bed, will jump on my bed while I’m sleeping and wake me up. She’ll be there for five seconds then go back to her puppy. Do you know why she’s doing this because I have no clue? Pet's info: Dog | Maltipoo | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 10 months old | 15 lbs
