My new cockatiel is bored. How can I keep him happy in his cage?

Zucchini sometimes seems like he is bored And he want to play with But this is the 1st month at my home and he’s not comfortable 100% yet so i am scared to let him go out the cage and can’t return him in So how can i make him always happy and not bored (NB sometimes he is happy, play with his toy and whistle to it ). Pet's info: Bird | Cockatiel | Male | unneutered | 1 year old

thanks for reaching out about Zucchini. Boredom is common in pet birds. In the wild, they tend to spend 70-80% of their day foraging for food, but we place it all in a bowl. So hiding food around, using foraging toys will help to occupy this little brain. Good luck.
