Why are my cat's breasts swollen after giving birth? Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 2 months old | 2 lbs

My cat's breast are REALLY swollen and I'm very concerned. Is this normal? She did have babies Dec 28th but as of few days she no longer has the babies

No, this isn't normal and it can be a sign of mastitis. This is an infection of the mammary gland that is fatal without treatment. You need to take Misty into the vet first thing in the morning to get checked out.
