Why is my hamster's tail cut turning black and getting bigger?

My hamster got a cut on hid tail. This cut became a wart and is getting bigger all the time, it is also mostly black now.

Thanks for reaching out about Cinnamon. A mass on the tail that is getting larger could be an abscess (infection) or tumor. Wondering if the cut was self-induced by chewing at the area. A veterinary visit is recommended for an evaluation and potentially prescribe antibiotics. Do not use topical Neosporin as many antibiotics if ingested could cause serious, maybe fatal, gastrointestinal problems. Good luck.
