Post hysterectomy, for Pyometra, my dog is very thirsty all the time and drinking lots of water. Is this normal. Today is almost a week since her surgery

Increased thirst and water consumption can be seen with a pyometra from the bacteria that are present in the uterus, but it would be a little unusual for these symptoms to continue one week after surgery. It might be a good idea to have Murlee rechecked by your vet - they might want to check blood work to make sure her kidneys are functioning okay since kidney disease can also occur secondary to a pyometra.
