My dog got my pink eye Q-tip. Will he get sick or catch my pink eye?

I have borderline pink eye. Been cleaning my eye and my dog got a hold of a qtip I cleaned my eye with. I’m worried he’s going to get sick. Pet's info: Dog | Maltipoo | Male | neutered | 10 years and 9 months old | 15 lbs

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Joey. He will not get sick from getting ahold of this q-tip. The only concern I would have is if he ate it, but even then it will most likely pass without problem. I hope this helps.
